Charity of the year 2019

Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex

Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex, strives to save lives by providing the best possible care every minute of the day, every day of the year. They are an independent charity, so every penny they receive is truly valued.

Last year alone, they were called out to help over 2,000 people in life-threatening conditions. They never stop innovating and improving the care they can give, which means every donation they receive is vital.

They want to make sure they are available each and every time someone needs them.  For 18 hours of the day, they operate with two crews. For the remaining six, when it is quieter but there are still people out there who need them, they operate with one crew.

They have two bases at Rochester Airport and Redhill Aerodrome, meaning their two helicopters can reach any part of the region within 20 minutes.

They put the people who need them at the heart of everything they do. None of us ever know when we, our family, our friends or our community may need this vital service.

They need your support to keep flying high.
