Pilgrim Quilters Take Our Charity Quilts into the Community

Our first Pilgrim Quilters Charity Quilt Exhibition is now on display at Reigate Community Centre, with 16 colourful quilts brightening the walls.

Every quilt on display has been made to support one of the two wonderful charities we regularly sew for – Project Linus UK and Quilts for Care Leavers – giving our members an opportunity to use their skills to make something special for someone else.

The exhibition is also a chance to take Pilgrim Quilters out into our local community and show people what we make, who we support and what our friendly quilting group gets up to.

A huge thank you to everyone who provided quilts and helped hang the exhibition, and to Reigate Community Centre for welcoming us.

The quilts will be on display until Tuesday 6 October – so do pop in for a look, perhaps enjoy tea and cake in the café, and bring a friend!

And Reigate is only the beginning – we’re hoping our charity quilts will be popping up in more local venues very soon.
