2019 was a great year for Pilgrim Quilters. We enjoyed talks by five varied and interesting speakers, quilting workshops with Anne Walker and Alison Wood and two sewing days. Thanks to the efforts of every member, our exhibition successfully raised over £2,500 for the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance.
We are also pleased to have donated many quilts in support of the Linus Project, fifteen fidget quilts for the Alzheimer’s Society and twenty two reading cushions to charities for disadvantaged children through the Eagle Radio Christmas appeal. We are now looking forward to celebrating our 40th Anniversary in 2020!
