April has been a great month for member outings:

Wednesday 2nd April 2025: A PQ day trip to Janet Clare’s Studio in Farnborough.

15 members enjoyed a great day out. To quote one of our members: “We all had a wonderful time at Janet Clare’s Studio today. Such a lovely welcome with tea and biscuits. Both Janet and Tony were great hosts and we learnt lots about fabrics and the process involved. The shop was rather appealing to!”

Wednesday 16th April: A PQ day trip to Hampton Court for a private view and talk about the Royal School of Needlework’s exhibition “Tales of Textiles”.

To quote one of our members: "6 of us who were the “overflow” from the previous visit to Hampton Court Royal School of Needlework thoroughly enjoyed the talk by an RSN volunteer on the “Textiles Through the Ages” exhibition and a chance to examine some of the treasure in their collection up close. Lunch at a local café and a shopping stop at Creative Quilting completed a super outing.”
